A couple of the primary functions of CoBRE are to enhance scholarly activities and to increase impact on local, regional, and national levels.

The AIM Center is deploying a series of activities, termed here "Vibrant Campus Initiative", to achieve these goals. The key activities The AIM Center is employing and/or is planning to employ include: International Symposia, Mini-receptions (and other informal scientific discussion events), Tuesday AIM Seminars (TAIMS), and Mentor Engagement Grants.
